January 4, 2023
Welcome 2023, with sports figures dropping over left and right, and daily revelations about the orchestrated Covid cover-ups. We are two days away from the Brunson’s case as I write this, and there is still not a new Speaker of the House. As the spring is wound tighter and tighter, it occurs to me that we are about to enter a hurricane of denials, obfuscations, suicides, and finger pointing.
2023 feels like the year of the avalanche. So I have a prediction, Readers. As they say, screen shot this for posterity, or at least to make me a fool if I’m wrong. In a few short weeks or months, we will start to hear from the Malthusian Explainers:
“You know, maybe it’s not a bad thing that so many strange deaths are happening. What if it is nature’s way of cleansing itself?”
“You know, maybe we are better off that the weak have fallen to Covid, because it makes humanity that much stronger.”
“We just topped 8 billion people and we all know the Earth cannot support so many. It’s a shame about all the deaths, but have you read The Population Bomb?”
“Who wants to live in a world with an out of control climate anyway? It is probably a lot kinder for Grandma to go now, before it gets worse.”
Such will be the mental cope of a lost population. No doubt they will want to simultaneously shift the focus to looming war, or some other topic. But every which way you turn, the rot is intertwined from top to bottom with the same usual suspects.
There is coming a Reckoning that will be unstoppable. God himself designed our bodies, and they are not ours to rearrange. God himself gave us this world to subdue, not to be subjugated by. If the start of 2023 tells us anything, it is that we didn’t learn very much at the Tower of Babel all those years ago. Be on the right side of history, of eternity. Reject Evil, that is my own New Year’s resolution, and one that I hope many others will make.
Peace be upon you in Christ, Readers.

Amen, brother. For believers, we are living in exciting times as the return of our Lord is drawing nigh. However, there are also scary and concerning times. God Bless the remnant. And, let us not forget; we are to be the light in a darkening world. I make this statement to myself too.
