My generation is old enough to remember one-screen movie theaters. Unlike the flurry of movie releases today, there was a time when Hollywood put their best effort forward. Instead of twelve choices on any given week, there was one or two. A single screen might show one movie at 7pm, and a different title at 9pm. A real blockbuster, like Star Wars, would show at both time slots, PLUS the matinee. It would run for two weeks, and maybe make a reappearance the next summer. Even at home on the television, there was a maximum of 13 channels, some of which were not even used. Today there are 400 channels; but ask most people what they watch, and it still comes down to just a handful. It seems there are a lot more writers, producers, and actors, but only a few gems that are worth the time.
In 1978 we moved to a bigger town. It not only had a one-screen cinema, but a TWO-screen job called Camelot Theater. We didn’t get a multi-plex until 1982 when the town built a mall, and that 5 year period was packed with the film classics that shaped my generation. For the first time, you could choose which film to see. You still might stand in a long line for a ticket on Screen 1, but even if it sold out there was usually a good choice on Screen 2. Theater managers could use this to their advantage in other ways, such as re-running Star Wars when Empire Strikes Back was released. When the 6-screen multiplex finally opened, it was the greatest thing ever for a teenager -- talk about choices! But as with most things in life, it seems that more choice did not always equal better quality. Since then, we have gone through the VHS / DVD boom, the pay-per-view boom, and the online streaming boom. Movie content is no longer the domain of Hollywood production companies, as the internet brings us content from Netflix, to Hulu, to amateurs making their own YouTube channels. The challenge we still face is finding something worth our time.
I have previously written about the Approved Narrative, which surrounds us and washes over us continually in the media and infotainment we consume. Through it, most people develop a ‘reality frame’ that shapes their perceptions of the world. We may pride ourselves on the world view we formed through experience, education, or religious beliefs; without grasping that even those can be influenced or compromised by the Approved Narrative. There is a concept called Mass Formation Psychosis which is getting a lot of attention right now, thanks to a viral interview with Dr. Robert Malone on the Joe Rogan show. If this term is new to the reader, an often-cited example of such a psychosis would be what the German people experienced during the Third Reich. It took the exposure of the concentration camps and the Nuremburg trials to snap them out of it. Dr. Malone is the inventor of mRNA vaccines, and among other things has a lot to say about current state of the ‘vaccine reality’ we are experiencing.
Recognizing narratives is more difficult than one might think. When my daughter was young, we would analyze TV commercials as a sort of game. What were they really selling? Which audience were they targeting? Were the claims true? On one occasion we challenged the popular notion of local bike helmet usage, by actually looking up the town ordinance. A neighborhood mom had taken her to task for not wearing one, claiming it was The Law when it was not. Popular notions gain traction and acceptance when everyone follows them, even when there is no basis in law – take the idea of vaccine ‘mandates’ as a recent example. A President can tweet that something is mandated for all, even though he can only directly control government employees. Congress could pass a law requiring vaccines, except that it would be unconstitutional. So the ‘mandate’ occupies a gray area in which it is not exactly legally enforceable, except that you may be coerced and pressured into following it. Ultimately, we feel safer or more accepted when falling in line with the ways of those around us, and are inclined to eventually comply. Can’t blame us for human nature.
Coercion, peer pressure, and loss of access are the favored tools these days in gaining your willing compliance. By now everyone is aware of the de-platforming taking place on social media, aimed at those who violate ever-changing policies. The narrative controllers seem very adept at identifying those who need to be silenced, ‘erased’, or discredited. By all accounts Dr. Malone is one of the foremost experts on mRNA vaccines, yet he has been kicked off of Twitter for undermining the approved narrative handed down by the WHO and the CDC. NFL fans may be following along the criticism and attacks on Aaron Rodgers, who has the audacity to simply say that he analyzed the risks for himself and decided not to get vaccinated. He even reads Ayn Rand…cancel my tickets! Whether or not one views Rodgers’ position as dangerous or justified may have a lot to do with which narrative one is following – because there is a whole Alternate Narrative that many other people are following. You may have noticed this yourself; more and more we find two disparate groups of people. One group accepts most of what is reported on the mainstream news, and from other Trusted Sources. The other group questions everything, and assumes we are being lied-to by the same Trusted Sources. Reaching across this divide is becoming increasingly difficult, and getting more uncomfortable all the time. As reasonable human beings, ought we not be able to simply look up the facts, as in my bike helmet example? Maybe, but it’s doubtful. It turns out that almost any belief can be backed-up with internet research, leaving us in quite a quandary when trying to drill down to the truth on most issues.

The online world is so huge that most every idea has its own echo chamber, its own proponents, and its own statistical ‘proofs’. Pick even a ridiculous topic like Flat Earth, and you will find tons of people swearing it is true and showing you experiments as to why. They adamantly debunk Newton, Kepler, NASA, and want to convince you of the truth. The same thing happens on other topics, like climate science, historical events, economic theory, and many more. With an unstoppable flood of information we have effectively come to the point where there are 400 channels to watch, but nothing good is on. This is why the power of the Narrative is so strong: build enough consensus, and it starts to look more and more true. If Trusted Sources like scientists, doctors, and economists mostly align, then we are much more persuaded. Again, it is simple human nature. Why overthink it too much when Colin Powel stands before the UN Assembly with yellow cake evidence in his hands, urging the invasion of Iraq? But we begin to run into problems with consensus views when the claims being made are not supported by the observable facts. There starts to be a mental disconnect when things we are invested in believing turn out to be false: the deeper the belief, the deeper the disconnect. Imagine the mental meltdowns that would occur if God could be disproved. Some of us would just flat-out deny it on faith. Others would fly into a rage, or ‘debunk’ the findings, or attack the messenger. There would be a lot of suicides. Only a very few would look at the claims, and re-evaluate their positions. This disconnect in the face of fact is called ‘Cognitive Dissonance’. It is so powerful that we begin to alter our own reality when it starts to be exposed, resulting in what seems like ever-increasing insanity to others. We tend to neatly formulate a New Narrative, an alternate reality if you will. When Covid was making its rounds in 2020, we kept hearing the phrase ‘new normal’, which can now be seen as an attempt to normalize something abnormal in the minds of the population. Powerful words, backed up by powerful consensus.
Two Movies
Just a few weeks before Christmas, we had a typhoon pass through very near to where I live in the Philippines. Typhoon ‘Odette’ made international news, with the usual pictures of its destruction and human interest stories. My in-laws on a different island are still without power in fact, owing to their rural location. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of impact Odette caused, having watched previous typhoons devastate other islands in the archipelago. There was very little flooding from rains. We lost one tree, but the power was restored in less than a day. With various typhoons on other islands there have been mud slides and horrific scenes. But I was left with the impression that this was just an average typhoon, in an average year, in a group of islands that has experienced these for untold centuries. We will nail our tin roof panels back in place, and continue on just like before. But in contrast to my impression was the somewhat breathless radio ‘prayer break’ run on all the local stations. I assume these are sponsored by the Catholic church, but I don’t know that for a fact. The content of the pray-mercial was thanking God for his Grace in saving us from the typhoon, and begging His forgiveness for the climate changes we have wreaked on our planet. They have a similar pray-mercial asking God to bless the fearless first responders, and save us from this Covid, and that everyone could get vaccinated as soon as possible. I could barely contain my laughter, hearing those missives run every hour. Then I started to get a little annoyed, by what I consider to be disinformation. But it is simply a Narrative, one that has been pushed out over the public consciousness these last years, and dutifully adopted by whoever paid for the air time (8,000 pesos for a single 30-second slot, about a month’s wages for most people). Maybe they give the Church free air time, who knows. These alternating realities, or Alternate Narratives, seem just as real to each group, even though we are both using the same set of facts. We are simply watching two different shows, a concept possibly coined by Scott Adams as the “Two Movies Theory.”
Observed in this way, we can more easily understand the volatility which seems to be pushing the world to a boil. As a thought experiment, take any major news item of the last 5 years, and apply the Two Movies filter:
January 6 Insurrection:
Screen 1- A group of armed revolutionaries stormed the Capitol, causing death and destruction in an attempt to overthrow the government. Trump was behind it, and the perpetrators have been caught and are awaiting trial. We have all the proof we need on video.
Screen 2- Up to two-million patriots gathered at the Capitol, peacefully protesting the election fraud. After being invited in by Capitol police, infiltrators emerged who began to riot and destroy property. These have been identified as FBI, BLM, and Antifa members. Many innocent people have been arrested, and are still being held without trial. Where are all the other videos, and who is Ray Epps?
Mask effectiveness:
Screen 1- Some or most droplets are effectively captured by cloth & paper masks. It is a proven fact, and we’ve always known this. Covid-19 is mostly spread by droplets on surfaces, so wearing the mask is a sensible precaution.
Screen 2- While some droplets are captured, the vast majority of masks are made from plain cloth and have never been tested. Covid-19 is mostly spread airborne, which goes right through the N95 masks.. Wearing a mask may be polite, or have psychological value, but offers little or no actual protection. Prior to 2020, the experts’ advice was that masks are ineffective.
Climate change:
Screen 1- After much debate we finally have proof that man is causing irreparable damage not only to the environment, but specifically the climate. Storms are getting crazier, sea levels are rising, and we only have X-years to turn it around before we ruin the planet. Therefore, massive taxes, green energy mandates, and global carbon cooperation are the only way to save it.
Screen 2- After over 100 years of data collection there is still very scant sea level rise, and the cyclical temperature changes on Earth are more related to solar / geomagnetic causes than man-made ones. Storms have always been with us, and none of the doom predictions of the last 50 years have come to pass. Energy use and environmental impact is a complex issue which needs to be understood in a cost / benefit rational context, instead of simply giving more money and power to the government.
Hackers did it:
Screen 1- Russian hackers throw elections, steal secrets, cause industrial accidents, and spy on government email servers. This has resulted in untold national security risks, infrastructure risks, and even Trump being elected when he should not have been. We need more and better surveillance, tracking, and networking tools to thwart this ever-increasing threat to our security.
Screen 2- CIA, NSA, Mossad, and MI6 hackers throw elections, drop secrets, cause industrial and military accidents, and leave ‘Russian fingerprints’ behind. This has resulted in ship collisions, plane crashes, covert identities being exposed to China, and Hillary almost winning in 2016. We need less funding of these agencies, more exposure of their crimes, and more personal privacy tools to thwart this ever-increasing threat to our freedoms and sovereignty.
“Camelot Theater” is how I think of the world as we enter 2022. We have the ongoing and competing realities of Screen 1 and Screen 2. It is fitting then, that one of the very first national Cognitive Dissonance events I can think of involved a different Camelot – John F. Kennedy’s assassination. In dribs and drabs, most of us have come to understand over the decades that something very, very dirty and unseemly occurred in Dallas on that day. Yes, the nation was given an Approved Narrative, spun up from the CIA and the news rooms. The Warren Commission records were initially sealed for 75 years, so whatever the truth turns out to be, it will be after everyone involved has died. FOIA requests have revealed some documentation so far but much more is still locked up tight, despite the promises of Trump and others over the years. Perhaps the irony will not be lost on the reader then, who understands that the FDA wants 55 years to fully release…Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine data. While I suspect the Screen 1 movie will show claims of a staffing issue, or a legal complexities related to patents, or something reasonable about national security overrides….. it is safe to say that on Screen 2 will be something very, very rotten. Someone is desperate to keep these documents hidden until after they are long since retired or dead.
As children we learn that telling a lie requires another lie to cover it up, and bigger lie to cover that one up. Covid-19 has crossed into this territory. Since the beginning of 2020, there are too many discrepancies to list. WHO, the CDC, the NIH, the FDA can all take credit for the abject confusion and suffering by countries and their citizens, particularly during 2020. Their Original Sin began by using a genome ‘sequence’ that was not really sequenced, but extrapolated. They used a test which looked for a generic E-gene common among all Covid varieties, while omitting other critical genes that could have given definitive results. They issued cycle threshold guidance in their SOP protocols high enough to guarantee false positive results when labs administered the PCR tests. They sewed confusion on masking policy, distancing policy, case statistics, quarantine policy, and over-reacted on almost every recommendation. They contradicted themselves innumerable times, adding urgency to the formation of something called the Trusted News Initiative, TNI.
A more appropriate name for TNI might be Ministry of Truth, from Orwell’s 1984, because of the power they wield. TNI is the group that works with social media platforms and news organizations to decide what is fact and what is disinformation. In other words, they are one of the prime sources for the Approved Narrative. Social media companies then identify key words used to ban or restrict anyone discussing it; you ‘violated their rules’. According to TNI, the genome has been sequenced, the testing is accurate, and the vaccines are effective; yet nothing could be farther from the truth. They have created an atmosphere of censorship across most popular social media, while promoting their own misinformation / officially-approved points of view. This is a perfect example of how narratives are managed, and depending on if you are watching Screen 1 or Screen 2, you may be seeing a completely different show:
For those following Screen 1, the story is clear:
A new and deadly virus escaped from Wuhan, derived from a bat, and spread around the world before it could be contained. Heroic efforts on lockdowns, masks, and vaccine development has saved hundreds of millions of lives, despite this being one of the deadliest pandemics in history. With continued vigilance we can stay ahead of the variants by vaccines and booster shots, until Covid 19 is eradicated. It is vitally important that herd immunity is reached, for which we need 90-100% of the population to be fully vaccinated.
For those following Screen 2, the story is equally clear:
A new and relatively benign virus escaped from Wuhan, after being developed as illegally-funded gain-of-function research by the NIH, and spread around the world before it could be contained. Flawed testing and statistical ‘cases’ have led to unprecedented lockdowns, masking, and losses of basic freedoms. The vaccines are still considered experimental, pose significant risks compared to standard antiviral treatments, and yet are being pushed onto age groups who do not need them. After two years, Covid has been no more deadly than flu, even replacing standard flu statistics for the 20/21 season. The long term risks of a population over-vaccinating and becoming immuno-deficient far outweigh the actual threat of Covid.
So I bid good-bye and good riddance to 2021 as the most oppressive year in my lifetime. Each day is bringing new cracks in the armor of the Approved Narrative, from election validity to foreign policy, from big pharma to the Dollar. The lies are great, and they are many. It seems obvious that none of this can be sustained indefinitely… the question I have is, will something break before the Cabal gains totalitarian control over us all? I am hopeful – even optimistic – that the Covid narrative may completely collapse in coming weeks. Not to jinx it, but it seems like the genie is already out of the bottle, especially looking at some of the topical highlights from 2021:
January – WHO changed their recommendation for virus detection in the PCR tests to 25-30 cycles, acknowledging the 35+ cycle threshold used during all of 2020 was giving false positive results.
May – CDC acknowledged aerosol spreading of Covid.
May – CDC acknowledged ‘many many’ hospital-reported Covid deaths are not from Covid.
April to June -- WHO created massive infection turnaround in Uttar Pradesh, India without vaccines, by using ‘tracing, tracking, and treatment’. Treatment with standard anti-virals and vitamins.
July – CDC declared the vaccines are failing to provide long lasting protection, and that viral loads may be higher among the vaccinated (more contagious).
August – FDA granted full use approval to Pfizer for the ‘Comirnaty’ vaccine (new name). But Comirnaty is not available in the US, and the older stocks of BioNTech you can get still fall under the Emergency Use Authorization for experimental vaccines. In other words, they won’t sell you the one that exposes them to liability. By this slight of hand FDA has created the impression that vaccines are now fully approved.
September – CDC redefined Vaccination from “produces immunity” to “produces protection”.
September – FOIA request to CDC revealed they have no recorded cases of an unvaccinated person spreading Covid-19 after recovering from Covid-19.
November – ‘Omicron’ variant appeared, with a lot of CDC / WHO fanfare and dire predictions. Fear was diffused by Omicron’s mild nature, whose symptoms are identical to the common cold.
December – CDC reported as of Dec. 8 that 80% of Omicron cases were among the fully vaccinated, and a similar percentage was trending in other countries.
December – CDC found to have been over-counting vaccination numbers, by including second and third shots as first shots.
It’s Christmas
As a final Christmas present to my rising spirits this year, we have the reports of a new condition called Flu-Rona, just to round everything out. Yes, this is the condition one might experience when having Covid-19 and Flu at the same time! Often reported with a straight face, you may be infected with both….and you wouldn’t even know it because the symptoms are so similar! So the obvious course of action must be to run out and get tested right now, in those overflowing emergency rooms…to find out if you have a common cold, or the flu, OR BOTH (cue scary music). Better still, buy home-testing Covid kits so that you can check yourself every week to know if you should go outside. If Flu-Rona fails to create enough panic there is always the next variant, known as “IHU”, which has already appeared in France, waiting just off stage for the spotlight.
In closing, we live in a world in which the narrative managers use fear and persuasion to get you to comply with the wishes of the Cabal and their Deep State. It didn’t happen overnight, they have been building up to this for a long, long time; slowly enough that most people never saw it coming. Right now their wish is for every person on Earth to take a vaccine. Young or old, healthy or not, they want you to take repeated injections, apparently every few months, according to whatever they whisper to the WHO. No longer is vaccine science rock-solid, boosting your immunity to lifetime protection for a given virus. In the ‘New Normal’ world, our bodies are helpless without vaccines, and every mutation will need a new shot to keep us ahead of danger. Your old ideas about the way vaccines should work, or how we have normally handled outbreaks in the past no longer apply. We are now primed for every flu season, every new ‘bug’ as we used to call them, to require locking down, getting injected, and wearing masks everywhere. They simply need to invoke the word ‘Covid’ to convince us. Fail to comply, and you are considered a super-spreader. You should not be allowed to work, not be allowed on a plane, or in a store or a classroom. It only took two years for them to turn our entire collected health experiences upside down, and re-define ‘Normal’. Christians recognize the quickening times, and impending signs, and yet putting our fingers precisely on Biblical timing remains…challenging. Whether or not the ‘Great Reset’ turns out the way they hope it will, with our mental and digital enslavement, depends on all of us and whether we will continue our willing compliance.
Thus far the Cabal is doing an excellent job keeping most people in a state of fear: Fear of death, fear of losing your job, fear of losing your retirement, your status, your friends, and so on. It is a powerfully persuasive tool designed to get you to go along just another few steps. Just stay in the comfy zone a little longer, until their grip over the world is complete, and you realize it is a Fully armed and OPERATIONAL battle station, to quote Darth Sidious in Return of the Jedi.
I urge anyone reading this to reflect on the past two years, and to use 2022 as an opportunity to regain control of the narrative, your personal narrative. If you belong to Christ then there is no reason to live in fear, for we know by whom we are judged, and in whom our confidence rests. Stand firm in your resolve to live strong, to do right, and to keep your body the Temple that it is. Abide not in the lies of the enemy, who wants you to believe the fight is lost, or that you should just quietly tolerate his designs. No! The enemy has always wanted to conquer us, as he has conquered so many before, so is it any wonder that the digital age has given him even more global reach? But it also gives us the global reach we need. We can begin by recognizing the battle being fought, and who we are in Christ, and connecting with neighbors and family. We can be vocal in public forums, or stand firm against that school board, or the company HR department. Some have estimated there are less than 1,000 people at the top of the pyramid, dictating these designs to the other 7 billion. Satan, through his Cabal of followers, is playing us. Only instead of playing to our vanity, as he did with Eve, he is playing to our fear. Quite simply, we don’t have to take it -- and we never have.
